About
Join us for a fun, hands-on activity where kids learn how tiny worms can make a big difference! In this interactive session, children will discover how red wiggler worms turn everyday food scraps into nutrient-rich compost that helps plants grow. Kids will explore the world of worms, learn about recycling food waste, and see how composting supports a healthier planet. Perfect for curious young minds who love nature, science, and getting their hands a little dirty!
No age restrictions. Whoever identifies as a “kid" is welcome. We will make the class and its language family-friendlys.
Instructors: Fred Landavazo and Yini Wang. The class will be held outdoors so be sure to bundle up.
The class is free and open to everyone. Please register with the button below.
