Do-It-Yourself Bokashi Bran Workshop

The workshop is sponsored by Santa Fe Compost Action Team (SCAT), a project of the Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners. (It is not sponsored by Bernalillo Master Composters. However, this is a topic we think many composters will be interested in.) The workshop is for anyone who is already practicing Bokashi Composting. Commercially purchased Bokashi bran normally costs about $8.85 per pound, plus shipping. Our cost will be $2.00 per pound. Make as little as 7 pounds ($14) or more in increments of 7 pounds. The sponsors will provide the grain, molasses, microorganisms, and container. You will take these home when you leave. The class will be held in the campus Exhibit Hall. You do need to register.
